Meditation, Purpose, and Positivity

Today I get to sit down with my friend Kobey Smith, a certified meditation instructor, mental health advocate, and small business support specialist with a passion for entrepreneurship.

One of the central themes of our discussion was the transformative power of meditation and mindfulness. Both Kobey and myself initially approached these practices with skepticism, but through personal experiences and understanding, we have recognized the profound benefits. Kobey shared his journey of embracing meditation as a form of self-care and emphasized that there are numerous approaches to meditation, encouraging individuals to find what works for them.

Our conversation also delved into the entrepreneurial spirit and the challenges that come with pursuing one’s passion. Kobey’s entrepreneurial journey was marked by adaptability, determination, and a commitment to making a positive impact. He emphasized the importance of integrating wellness and a positive mindset into his products, recognizing the value of promoting mental well-being among potential customers.  Kobey and provided valuable perspectives for aspiring entrepreneurs and small business owners, offering actionable advice and inspiration to navigate the challenges of startup ventures.

Kobey’s multifaceted role as a small business support specialist at the Greater New Haven Chamber of Commerce was also a focal point of our discussion. He underlined the Chamber’s role in supporting businesses through networking, resources, and development opportunities, highlighting the impact of community involvement and collaboration.

In summary my conversation with Kobey was a compelling exploration of purpose, positivity, and the power of collaboration. Listeners gained valuable insights into meditation, entrepreneurship, and the importance of fostering a supportive business community. The genuine and uplifting energy of Kobey Smith served as a source of encouragement, enlightenment, and motivation for individuals striving to work towards their purpose.
