Crafting Wellness: CBD, Health Cafe, and Fermented Products

Alex Angeloff is an entrepreneur, creative thinker, and health food expert. From navigating the challenges of his upbringing to founding his own craft CBD company and health cafe, Alex’s journey is a testament to resilience and the pursuit of purpose.

Alex Angeloff’s path to entrepreneurship was anything but conventional. Growing up in New Haven, Alex’s creative spirit and skepticism towards the medical establishment were deeply influenced by his family’s background in pharmaceuticals. He experienced the constraints of the traditional educational system and eventually found himself in trouble with the law.

Following his pursuit of environmental science in college, Alex felt a disconnect between academia and real-life application, prompting him to make a pivotal decision to depart from his formal education. This turning point led him on a remarkable journey, including a period of incarceration that fundamentally shifted his mindset and sense of agency.

After doing his time Alex embraced a newfound perspective on life and channeled his creativity and resourcefulness into entrepreneurship. In 2019, he embarked on an online CBD business venture and subsequently established a storefront that evolved to encompass a laboratory space, enabling seamless interaction with customers. This adaptive approach reflects Alex’s commitment to bridging the gap between innovative products and personalized customer experiences.

Alex’s entrepreneurial endeavors further expanded as he transitioned towards the vision of a health cafe, incorporating a holistic approach to health and wellness. With a focus on organic food, smoothies, and dietary practices aligned with his product recommendations, Alex’s cafe aims to redefine the concept of health food establishments. His emphasis on using fermented and specialized ingredients reflects a commitment to offering genuine health benefits and promoting informed dietary choices.

Beyond his business ventures, Alex’s deep-rooted passion for crafting health products is evident in his advocacy for standardized extracts and fermented ingredients, prioritizing genuine intention and comprehensive understanding in their formulation. This conscientious approach emphasizes avoiding harmful components and aligning with his values of holistic wellness.

Bio: Alexander Angeloff

Alex Angeloff grew up in Westville in New Haven and attended school at Amity in Woodbridge before going to Pace University and UConn. Despite bouncing around and not finishing college, Alex always had a problem with school, stemming from his childhood.  However, he always had a curious nature and came from a long line of pharmacists, with his family owning Silver’s Drug shop in West Haven for generations.  After spending some time in prison, he got out and eventually started formulating his own CBD compounds and started his first business The Remedy Co.  A few years later he opened Cultured Cafe in downtown New Haven, where he serves a variety of fermented foods and drinks, to improve gut health.
